Σ Turbulent Distrusting Ice Wall
Who: Fidchell the Prophet and two fateful parties.
What: A prophecy foretold.
When: 11/21, Night
Where: The city formerly known as Lumina Cloth.
Warnings: Mentions of suicidal ideation, violence.

[ Something appears to be afoot in the night-shrouded city of lights, Lumina Cloth. Ever since the fall of Innis and Magus, it has begun to grow colder, and colder, and colder. NPCs begin to glitch in and out of existence as the days crawl along until one day, they are no more, and it begins to snow.
Throughout this entire ordeal, a strange yet familiar figure dressed gaudily in blue and feathery robes can be witnessed watching from a distance.
Everything ices over, the lights flickering out one by one, plunging the entire city into darkness... until... until?
Only after the city has been buried in snow and covered in ice do the lights all snap back on and those who enter the Root Town will discover a horrific sight: Telophoroi Tower has risen high over the frozen landscape at the center of the city, overtaking the rest of the buildings. It is far larger and much more dangerous-looking than before, with more metal, more spikes, and an ominous mist clinging to it from all angles.
There is only one person who could possibly be waiting here.
Approaching the tower will plunge the players into the mist.
Nearly all will find themselves turned around but a few, those lucky few, will find themselves entering the dark, empty halls of the guild @ home once known as Telophoroi. Steps echo, emptiness reigns, no sign of even Cultist Grunty anymore. Those stairs are new, though, and they wind up and up and up towards the very tip-top of the tower.
Do you dare to climb them...? ]

ROUND 12 cw: vague reference to suicide
Lies! Delusions! You bothered to recall because you pitied him! You thought him accomplished and yet he still sought to throw his life away! Fandaniel was nothing! Nothing but a wound that could never heal!
[ More damage, more words, when Owen appears before him to deliver even worse. His debuff strikes true and though not all of it applies, it's enough to get him to fumble his cards, some even falling into the flames surrounding him. Fidchell will not be able to attack this round. ]
Memories... memories? That was... the point... to stop. To make everything stop.
[ He's weakening, that much is clear, but then the unexpected happens. Even Fidchell had not foreseen this, head jerking to the side to observe Leviathan walking forth... and turning on his friends. Ha. HA! ]
Ah, so you have reconsidered. Excellent.

Once a traitor, always a traitor.
After threatening Barrett back with his sword, he changes its form back into a staff. AOE is much more convenient when you have so many targets, after all.
(So long as you ignore the fact that he only hit one person last time.)
Flames begin to stir above him as he raises his staff once more. In the process, his bangs are pushed around by the wind, and...is that a mark on his forehead? Odd.]
V̸̢͇̕u̶̲̪͗l̵̘̊c̴̘̰̚a̸͈̫͗n̶̜̫͔̉ ̵̧͈͛R̸͔̪͇̅f̷̗̘̉͋.̸̱̩̀̈̂ͅ
[The flames converge into a huge flaming bird and it instantly sweeps over the party.
Leviathan is targetable, should anyone wish to attempt to subdue him that way.]

She holds out her hand as the phoenix sweeps over, bracelet forming again.] No, no more! We're not losing anyone else to Cubia!
[This has to work, she thinks. Their cores protect them, so even if he's not a phase--it just has to work.
Dehya uses Data Drain on Levi.]

As his body is ravaged by the drain, a sign of life appears in his eyes once more...and he screams. It actually sounds like Levi this time, confused and terrified like he's just woken up to this.
He staggers forward, drops to his knees...and collapses.
That...takes care of that?]
no subject
It was necessary but that scream is going to haunt her forever. See you next turn.]

The attack hits him directly, "INVULNERABLE" popping up as the fire licks away the moisture left against the metal of his armor, even though it singes his hair and all the fabric he wears.
Fidchell seems surprised. Either a lie, among so many lies, so so many lies, or--
"He trusted you, and you betrayed him. His life is in my hands now.
You brought him to me."
His heart pumps icy cold as he refuses to take an action other than to take a very intentional step forward, still planted in front of his brother, eyes trained on that mark and then back to those empty eyes.]
Give him back.

But then, uh...]

[ Dammit, he wished he knew him better. He opens his mouth to speak again, brows drawing up as a more familiar voice seeps from his lips, but...
Levi attacks. He doesn't bother to move, instead tanks the hit (4). A healer, tanking? A huge chunk of his health is gone. But does he care? No.
This time, his heart twists in a different way. ]
Don't do this, Levi! [ A dark, starry sky dances on his fingertips as he brandishes his staff into the air for Natural Convergence (20). The sounds and the light of the arena bend and dip as a black hole forms behind Levi, towards Fidchell, and will drag both of them into it, immobilizing them for one round. ] Kara wouldn't want this!
no subject
He decides to let the others handle Levi, however. He trusts them. ]

[She dodges the Vulcan Ri (15) and continues slamming Fidchell with another Reaper's Game (14) - Guaranteed crit attack after a seven second countdown.]
Try thinking about it for seven seconds!

[ He never pities, simply because he hates to be pitied in turn. Why would he inflict that on someone else?
It takes him a moment or two to recover from Levi's attack, but when he does, Fai sends out another Acid Rain (9)... and misses. Seems like he didn't actually recover enough to attack. ]
cw more suicide references, wrow.
He's not afraid of dying, whether it be here or not. He's been afraid of living, certainly, but...]
...Trying to make everything stop isn't a guarantee that you'll have peace, or oblivion. You can try and still fail, and you just have to deal with it. We all do.
[Ugh, ow, this sucks. Why does fire have to hurt so bad? Why couldn't this weirdo possessed Levi have used a darkness spell.]
Your plan is still fucking stupid, Amon. You're giving up when you know you can still change your fate, but I'm not going to let you get away with it.
[Innis was right - all of the despair hasn't made him fight against his fate. He's accepted it. Owen can't even look down on him, with the history he remembers, but what can he do?
He glances over at Levi as he gets data drained and collapses, and for a moment there's a spark of worry - but it fades, because people will take care of Levi. People will try their best to save him, so Owen can leave that to the people that love him. Still, he has - he has that stupid core he got from tylorific.
So, Owen uses Data Drain Type H: Single on Fidchell. Healing the boss is basically tradition, at this point.]

like, the things he's saying are right but.
