Who: Everyone!
Where: Guild Name's @ home.
When: Vague Approximation of Halloween
What: pardi pardi pardi
Warnings: General party warnings for things like alcohol consumption, but anything specific is up to y'all heathens.

Not many people have entered Guild Nameās @ home before today, which is perhaps understandable given the demeanor of its owner. The few who have will find the @ home entirely redecorated - if you could even say it was decorated in the first place, with how utilitarian everything was before. Maybe Owenās taken a leaf out of Telophoroiās book, or heās really into halloween. Or both. Either way, Sweets Grunty has done a lot of work to essentially redecorate the entire @ home.
The main hall is where most of the action is, with tables set up filled with snacks and drinks. Most of the snacks are small finger foods, and it does seem to heavily lean towards sweeter options, but all of them have a general spooky flair. There are candy apples, cupcakes, finger sandwiches, hand pies, nothing too outrageous. Thereās a selection of wine, ciders (both alcoholic and alcohol-free), as well as harder spirits, liqueurs, and juices if people want to craft something stiffer, and coffee and teas for people who want a different sort of buzz. Thereās music playing over speakers, but a piano also sits in the hall. Youāll probably want to get permission before you try to play it, though.
There are chairs and tables for people who would rather sit and eat, as well as an open space to serve as a rudimentary dance floor for people who would rather move, but itās clear the plans for this party were simply āpeople can do whatever they wantā. Thereās even tubs of water with apples if people want to go bobbing, and other random party games for people to fuck around with. The world is your oyster, and Owen doesnāt care what people do (which is why PVP is enabled within Guild Name).
The only other rooms that can be entered without asking Owen about it are a bathroom which hasnāt escaped the halloween decorations, and the kitchen which seems to be where Sweets Grunty can be found keeping itself busy.

[ He is overall without a costume, not unless he dons the maid outfit for all to enjoy. That's a reasonable costume, is it not? Admittedly, he's also here because he still feels all those feelings for poor Owen, though he is trying to be less, uh, blatant about it now. ]
no subject
[Not that he minds the offer, he can just see that it doesnāt add up.]
If you want a tour and to keep me company you could just say so.
no subject
[ Yes, he really did just want to snoop around the guild. ]
Although if you would rather I sit in a corner drinking at your party instead of helping, well. I am a bit limited on costume options, to tell the truth. On top of the tour and your company, that is.
no subject
[He finishes his stretch, stepping back from the barre. He switches skins - he had been wearing his first first skin, a gift from Zelkova that included pointe shoes - and settles into something a bit more casual.]
You donāt need a costume, but Iām sure you have a maid outfit or bunny suit like everyone else.
[Owen does! But heās also not going to force Fandaniel to stay and party.]
But a tour. Is there anything youāre dying to see? Because there isnāt much here. Itās not nearly as elaborate a guild as Telophoroi.
no subject
[ Cue the sudden skin change to, let's see, the maid one for now. The bunny suit shows off a little too much still bruised skin right now. ]
Although I also have a few of the random skins I've yet to wear around. There's a new butler one, a racecar driver, I think. [ But even if he doesn't end up staying, he will leave the maid dress on for the tour. ] Hmm, you say there isn't much, but I still needed to ask where you were to find you.
no subject
[Not that thereās much Fandaniel could do with his ribs busted up.]
Most of the rooms are like this. Practice rooms for music, dancing, things like that, so thereās not much to see besides more of the same, but I can still drag you through them until you get bored. Thereās only one sleeping quarter, too.
no subject
In that case, my lord will need to decide: maid? [ As he is now, in all ruffles and tight thigh-high white stockings or... ] Or butler?
[ And he swaps to the butler skin he got his hands on what feels like an age ago now, back during the grand opening of the beta test. ]
Hmm, only one sleeping quarter, though. You were not planning on having guild members, then, I suspect?
no subject
[He doesnāt really have a preference either way, honestly, but who isnāt weak to maids?]
Why would anyone want to join? If they were insistent, I suppose something could be arranged.
[He pauses.]
And if I show you, youāll just insult it, same as my room in Telophoroi.
no subject
[ And back to the maid outfit. As long as no one expects him to run in these heels, this should be fine. ]
You never know. Maybe you can start a little show company, music, and dance, and people will join the guild for that? [ One never knows. He's sure other people have some musical inclination here or there, just not him, personally. ] Ah, though I suspect you are correct about the room. Really, if it's as bare...
Just let me decorate for you if you keep insisting on such dull living quarters.
no subject
I donāt think thereās nearly as many people capable of dancing as you would think there are, and Iām not about to start offering lessons.
[Heād probably be a horrible teacherā¦
Anyways, enough standing here. Owen will head to the door, nodding for Fandaniel to follow him.]
I donāt see why itās necessary to bother with decorating. Itās just a place to sleep, and itās not likely to be a permanent living arrangement, anyways.
no subject
[ After he had Cultist Grunty go ham on decorating it and all. In any case, he's following along after, the heels of his cute little maid outfit shoes click-clacking against the floor softly. ]
If so, you should really tell Cultist Grunty. It put quite a bit of effort into that.
no subject
[Which isnāt the same thing, but he does adore Cultist Gruntyā¦]
You havenāt invited me into your room, yet, so I canāt make any judgment calls on whether I could see myself settling into a place like it.
[Down the hall, stopping in front of another room. It looks nearly identical to the one Owen was just in, except this one has a piano in it. Ta-da. What a tour.]
no subject
[ The piano is... just a piano. Owen? Hello? ]
Ah, true, though, very true. Perhaps we should wander back over to Telophoroi afterward so I can give you a tour as well.
no subject
[Thereās not a ton of actual instruments in the guild, as just using the gameās in-built audio is easier, but their dear admin had gifted this to Owen.
More to himself, really, but Owenās not complaining. Itās a nice piano.]
If we have the time, of course. Iād love to see how your room compares.
[As tempting as it is, he canāt just not host this party, so he might need to take a rain check. They do have a few hours to killā¦]
no subject
[ Owen, run. You've met the dreaded MMO Housing Addict. Ah, but he trails off there a moment, still gazing into the room with the piano. ]
Hien certainly hands out a lot of items to people who ask, doesn't he?
no subject
I didn't ask. He just decided to put a piano after I asked if anyone could play.
[Owen tilts his head, walking over to the piano and sitting down.]
I don't make it a habit to ask people for things if I can just get them myself, so I wouldn't know about his handouts.
no subject
And when people do not ask, he still does it. He has a very soft, in certain ways.
no subject
[Or. Whatever is going on between the two of them. Owen doesnāt know and he doesnāt want to know the details.]
Is there something wrong with him having a soft, squishy center?
no subject
[ Wow, just wow, of all the choices! Hien picked Matoba? Really? ]
Mm, no, nothing wrong with it, per se, but he does choose very strange ways to show it.
no subject
[Honestly, theyāre not subtle.]
Perhaps⦠have you been a victim of his strange kindness?
no subject
[ Hmm, why had he gone to him for help again? That book, but? ]
I was left extremely distraught by a book I received as part of a gear set. You might recall that, although perhaps not. It came up on the forum once but not in any distinct fashion. I brought it to him to look at and... He did his best, to help. To calm me down. In fact, he did manage that part, at least.
no subject
[Is it, really⦠Well, itās a believable enough lie, if itās not the truth.]
His attempt to calm you didnāt involve an unnecessary amount of violence, did it?
[Itās a poor joke, but Owen is curious.]
Youāve got some conflicted feelings about him. You donāt know if you buy heās the monster he tries to be, but you donāt know that you like him, either.
[He says it like it must be a fact - and heād be very surprised if heās wrong.]
no subject
No. I... do not recall him ever becoming violent with me, outside of the tournament ring. He was strangely thoughtful. Do not consider me that naive, however. I know he is a monster, in part, but only because he was never allowed to be anything else... or so I would think.
I. Do not know how I feel, precisely. We fought. Or more like, I attacked him, some weeks or... so ago? [ It's cloudy now. Hmm. ] He angered me and I hurt him terribly, but then I found myself in such an odd mood recently.
[ Admittedly, he's still in that odd mood. He's having a lot of feelings this week and it's terrible. ]
I asked for his forgiveness, we hugged. He gave me a peculiar book as a gift.
no subject
So you're why he was all bandaged up...
[Because the last time he saw Hien he looked like absolute trash in a bad costume.]
This peculiar book isn't related to the book he had helped you with before, is it?
[Is Hien just passing out trauma books now? That doesn't exactly seem out of character, but he hasn't gotten any so... The mystery continues.]
But I think that Hien is someone who is too lazy to change how people perceive them when it comes to his "monstrous" nature. He cares far more than he lets on and is more sentimental than one might think, remembering pointless things for... for a very long time.
[There's something nagging in the back of Owen's mind about that, but he's not quite sure what it is... A memory, perhaps, of Hien? But he only just met him a few months ago...]
A dangerous combination for someone with a temper like his, but he makes his weaknesses obvious. We all have, in a way, and we've shown more of ourselves than we might have liked to. He's no exception, you're no exception, I'm no exception. We've all had our very selves cracked open and put on display for everyone around us to see into our very cores.
no subject
[ Still, very peculiar. Clones? Weird, just so weird. ]
Though... yes. I did that to his head. [ And there he sighs, still in that odd mood even if he's avoiding attempting to hold Owen's hand or anything like that. It's a struggle, a very real one. ] I wish I hadn't. I do not think the core of him is a terrible beast.
[ Since they're speaking of being cracked open and put on display. ]
I wonder if this mood is that, then. Myself, cracked open to my very core. When did I become so sentimental? So wistful? I would think it to be something in the air instead.
