Not functioning, yeah... Depression followed me for a long time. And it still clings to me even now.

It bared down on me in its entirety again a couple of weeks ago. It took me hours to get out of bed, if I got out of bed at all. The only thing that helped dull the pain was beer and booze.

[He rubs his shoulder, shrinking into himself a bit.]

Without my meds, momentum is the only thing keeping me going at the moment. I have to keep moving forward, to try and protect people and find a way out of this mess. Otherwise, I'll stop again. And I don't know if I can pull myself out next time.
