Oh, I think it does. I'm glad you chose to live your life the way you want, boss. People spend a lot of time doing things that doesn't even make them happy, you know?

But, I've never thought that hard about the rest of it. Sure, the past might influence you, but there's no changing what happened now.

I think, who you are who now matters most, because that's what can change. You can choose to be who you want to be, work towards your best self. So I don't think knowing anyone's past can change how I see them now.
